“Great first day in LA”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

My partner and I were looking something easy and relaxing to do on our first day in LA. With a bit of jet lag, we decided to head out to the Farmer's Market and check it out. With perfect summer weather, it was a hit and very busy!
I recommend checking it out if you are looking for something fresh and deicious to eat. They have lots of stalls and it was a great way to keep awake and adjust to the time zone!

Lots of fresh vegetables and fruit along with cakes and interesting stalls. It is also close to an outdoor mall The Grove which is also a nice walk but very crowded.

If you are talking a stroller or small children, keep them close by (especially on a weekend). We attended on a Saturday and there were LOTS of kids, so just keep an eye on the little ones!

“Great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

The farmers market is a great place to visit, we went during the day and had a look around and decided to go back for food on the Friday night, the whole place was buzzing with free music and an amazing choice of food! We had several yummy meals here and I would recommend the Mexican and the pizza place highly! If your looking for somewhere lively where a lot of locals hang out, you have found it right here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trips to this market. There was a huge variety of food and goods available - so much choice we wandered around for ages trying to make up our minds!

“Love it every time!”

LA is my husband's hometown and we always enjoy trips to the area. No LA visit is complete for us if we don't go to Farmers Market. Well priced shopping and the food selections are fantastic. We have loved everything we've tried there. I always save room for dessert and either enjoy Cheesecake Factory in The Grove or white chocolate dipped strawberries in a nook of the produce section of Farmers Market. We always try to get there early but regardless of the time of day we find parking sooner more often than later. Parking can be an issue but it's pretty much base level comprehension for any driver to know they should park legally and read signs in any lots they do park in. Everywhere but especially in highly populated areas where every bit of space is premium. The vendors in Farmers Market are always happy to validate parking for customers.

“Great place for lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

We stopped here on our tour. Great place for lunch. Heaps of food to choose from. Cooked or if you prefer to get some fresh produce, it is also available. The only trouble we had was trying to find a place to sit and enjoy lunch and people watch.
