The ceviche is hard to find around here. They not only had ceviche but they had a black concha ceviche! One of my favorites! I got it with Shrimp also it was great! It was my boyfriends first time at a Guatemalan restaurant and he likes it!

“Amalias is great Guatemalan food!”
Reviewed June 22, 2011

Recently went there with many friends and family for a 50th bday party. We were treated just like we were family! We sampled dozens of dishes and the consensus was that everything was awesome. Our party had people from Huntington Beach, Brea and Granada Hills. It was well worth the drive. The ambiance and arrangement of Amalias make it feel like you are enjoying a meal at a friends home. Milbet, Suzy and her daughter were so nice. They are passionate about their food! Everything is fresh and prepared that way. The variety was wonderful. Some of us enjoyed it so much that we made a special trip back to Amalias less than a week later so more family members could try it. We love Amalias!
