Finally an hotel with chic and european elegance from the moment i was greeted by the valet thru my entire stay .
This is the real deal , impeccable personal service, fantastic north of italy cuisine with the CIPRIANI freshest ingredients.Great crowd. Very knowleagable and helpful concierge and front desk.
The room are decorated with pure italian taste, leather, leather and leather, marble bathroom and breathtaking view of LA from our balcony, very refined and confortable bed.
but what made the best of my stay was the people, truly Cipriani style !

We arrived to the hotel and found that Expedia had not passed on the details of our reservation properly to the hotel so we found ourselves with the wrong type if room so be careful of booking with Expedia. Having said that the hotel did everything to out it right. The hotel is a great place to explore la however food and drinks and parking are too expensive, more even than the Mondrian which spoilt an otherwise great time. I would stay here again.

The rooms are beautifully furnished and are exactly as they look in the pictures. The staff were super friendly... we arrived early and they were able to accomodate us and even upgraded the room. Its about a 5min walk to the strip of shops and restaurants in Beverley Hills. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and the wait staff was wonderful and the breakfast spread I ordered was incredible (but pricey).
Our only complaints were the lack of service elevators (causing long waits and frequent stops) and the tapping from the wind blowing on the patio doors (which we thought was our neighbour walking around, until we realized the real source of the noise right before checking out!). Also, we ordered a room service Margherita pizza and it was expensive, small and not very tasty.

...at least thats the vibe they are going for.

The rooms were good sized, very clean, comfortable, and fun . My wife loved the vanity. Very comfortable, large bed, good sitting area. Lots of little details and all in all came together. We initially had a city view room, but relaly all we could see was the stripmall across the way. We asked to be moved and got upgrade to a Hollywood / Beverly Hills view room - much better. On a clear night or day you can see all of the hills, etc... this is where you wanna be. Great view and amazing having breakfast on the deck.

The hotel was overall a fun and great experience. It definitely is pricey in all aspects. And service is good if not a bit over the top trying at times.

But definitely recommend for a fun weekend for romance or group getaway.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the view of hollywood hills.

This new boutique hotel is the location is where the new Mr. C restaurant has opened and should close immediately. DO not confuse this place with it's New York counterpart (which is good) This pretentious Italian restaurant serves lousy food and is an insult. The fish tasted likes Swanson and the rolls and salads were not edible. The tables and chairs are built for small children. There is not enough elbow room to move without knocking over drinks and dinner plates on one another. Management was used to this happening and simply put a dry table cloth on wet tables. Bad food and a very uncomfortable night. The meal was $375.00 with 2 cocktails and one deserts. Immediately after leaving we got burgers and fries because we were starving and all very upset about the experience and the treatment. I left my card with the manager as we left and asked that someone contact me the next day for an explanation. - No one called. I have called two times since and no one will return my call
