“Feels like Mexico”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2012

Some would say Los Angeles is basically Mexico, but Olvera Street really does resemble the parts of Mexico I've been to. Lots of little shops with trinkets, toys and food. It's a nice place to stroll or even take a seat and just enjoy the day.

“Good change to experience Birthplace of Los Angeles...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2012

Entertainment provided by strolling performers and great food available for purchase. Make it a day and visit Union Station and Philippes Deli (home of the french dip sandwich, hot mustard, pickled eggs and the $ .09 cup of coffee, price soon to be raised) across the street.

“Having some taquitos is a must!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

Every so often I go down to Olvera Street to grab some delicious taquitos. They come with the most delicious spicy guacamole sauce. Afterwards, I enjoy strolling through the narrow streets browsing all the shopping carts. I almost always buy some Mexican candies for my ride home. Great place for photography too!
