After checking all of the TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews, we decided to book with A Day in LA. It had consistently high marks among all the other tours and the RastaBus looked like it was really going to be fun. We made the right choice.
The website was easy to use and was running a special on tickets the week we arrived in LA. I also called the office to confirm that the bus would pick us up at our hotel. No problem at all.
The company is relatively new and the staff seems eager to please it's customers. That's a real plus these days.
The guide on our trip was Brian and the driver was Eddie. It was Friday before Veteran's Day and traffic around the city was heavy (as usual). Made me appreciate having someone like Eddie at the wheel to navigate through the city for 8 1/2 hours.
Brian was enthusiastic and entertaining throughout the whole day. You all know that it's the tour guide who either "makes or breaks" the day. He delivers!
The RastaBus stands out from all the other tour groups and draws a lot of attention. It plays "island" music throughout the day and keeps everyone in a fun mood. There were numerous stops during the tour and the bus was easy to spot and conveniently parked for us to get back on board.
I will not list the numerous destinations on the trip since they are all listed on the website and in other TripAdvisor reviews. We hit every one of them before the day ended without feeling rushed or shortchanged.
Don't pass this trip up if you're looking for a great day out!
