It was too noisy to think. Difficult to park and the escalators were not working???
The food was greasy, the margeritas were very weak.
The "hot Tamales" gals need to get more involved again.

The border cafe is located across from the Westin Bonaventure and is a convenient escape from the confines of the hotel. It is accessible via the Bank of America bridge. They kindly hosted our large group of 20. The food was wonderful but service,in our situation, was less than attentive. Recommend for individuals but not groups.

Typical MexiCali fare. The service was good, the food was ok, nothing special, the atmosphere was caual, and the location was right next to the Westin Bonneventure. Modertate prices, but nice size drinks make up for difference.

Loved the Yucatan pork. Well-priced in convenient location with public parking available. Both times I've visited, it has been very loud so challenging if you're hoping for conversation. I will visit again since the food is great.

Had a great dinner last week at the Border Grill. The staff were attentive and prompt, the food was amazing and I really liked the ambience of the place- it's inviting but not too casual. The food was inventive, but also paid homage to its traditional Mexican cuisine roots. A great experience!
