“Lovely food and service”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

I ate here with my partner in May, we sat outside although it was a bit chilly - they had their heaters on so it wasn't a problem! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who gave us our choice of tables (they weren't that busy outside!) and let us know to just let them know if we needed their heater turned up or down, which I appreciated.

I had the aubergine (eggplant, I think) parmegiana and it was really tasty! Good portion sizes as well - often while in the USA I felt overloaded with the portion sizes, but they were spot on at Obika.

A lot of the restaurants in Century City are quite expensive, but Obika sits pleasantly between places like BJs and Gulfstream. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful, and I would go again if in the area.

“Great concept, good food and/but”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

I prefer the one at the Beverly Center because the ambiance is more pleasant, i.e., quieter and fewer interruptions.
The food is good both places and Century City is definitely worth the visit, just do not sit by the door that opens/shuts constantly.

“Cool concept - Nice folks - Pretty good food”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We went here with very little time before our movie began, and the server et al. really worked to get us out in time ... Sweet! Food and wine were OK, but, ironically, the pizza had very little cheese on it ... ???

“Great lunch!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

I've gone back a few times to try a variety of their menu, and I am never disappointed. Their food is excellent, and tasty! Their soups and pastas are amazing, but their pizza is great! It is a nice place to catch a light lunch, or an appetizer with wine before dinner. The staff is very friendly, and they have nice wines by the glass. It is located in the Century City mall, near Bloomingdales, on the 2nd floor, but parking is ample down below. Perhaps a little more expensive than a usual lunch place, but well worth the money for the fresh produce and amazing pasta.
