Description: Taste at the Palisades, sister restaurant to Taste on Melrose, now resided just off Sunset Blvd a stones throw from PCH. With its relaxed setting, homey yet sophisticated, the menu offers updated Californian comfort cuisine for eminently moderate prices. The menu, split equally between appetizers and entrees, includes seasonal finds like white truffle mac 'n' cheese, salads and pizzettas. The unusual but simple starter of grilled romaine lettuce topped with gorgonzola, applewood smoked bacon and Granny Smith apples is a must-try. Main-course highlights like Kobe beef burger and crispy parmesan chicken paillard atop garlic potato puree. Taste at the Palisades offers everything that people are looking for in a neighborhood restaurant - namely good food and friendly service.

Taste on Melrose has always been a great choice, so we decided to try Taste at Palisades.
A bit off the beaten path but that has never been a problem for us.
Nice place, friendly waiters and waitresses.
Now, the food, ahhhh the food....
We were five people in our party, and we had four dishes that were ... miserable! We experienced it all, hamburger still frozen, uncooked potatoes, you name it. I have to admit I was the only one who got lucky. I will also admit the maitre d' apologized when we showed him the food that came to our table, and he tried to make up and lowered our bill at the end without us asking.
Unfortunately, we all left with 'a bad taste in our mouth', we weren't looking for a cheap price but some good food. I guess we will stick with Melrose in the future

We stumbled onto Taste after doing a lot of driving and realizing we were so hungry my son was suggesting Taco Bell. I saw a strip mall and said "There has to be something there." We found this wonderful restaurant. The service was conscientious and respectful, the afternoon "Brunch" menu was good, also serving lunch. I had a tuna sandwich which was perfectly seared and delicious. Everyone at our table said their food was amazing. The wine and drinks list was great. We enjoyed the February sunshine and sat outside but the interior was charming and inviting as well. What a find! The first time was not planned, but I would go back here again for sure. Amazingly for all this high-end food and service, the bill was very reasonable.

My good friend lives a few blocks away from Taste in Malibu, and told me how great this restaurant was, so I had to give it a try! She was right! The menu ranges from small dish plates to salads and some larger dished, too...something for everyone. We tried a few small dish plates that were fabulous - like their pizzettes and yummy mac & cheese! I also tried the beet salad, which was delicous. They have a Happy Hour during the week, where drinks and some of their food are half price. Our waitress suggested a bread pudding for dessert that was out of this world! The service was wonderful and so was the food. The restaurant decor is modern, but also has a warm feeling to it. I really loved this restaurant! It was a great find!

We were trying to find an Italian Restaurant on my GPS and found this one instead when the others were closed. We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the quality food, staff. I had this mac/cheese appetizer and cheese cannelloni and glass of sparkling wine, and my husband had a tomato bisque and rigatoni bolognase with a glass of cabernet. Both were good as we tasted each others food. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes good food.
