Description: The outcome of a dream Mantee Cafe is a family owned and operated charming cafe boasting a tranquil backyard garden, with an intimate atmosphere and the full comfort to enjoy our delicious selection of Mediterranean style home cooked dishes and sweets. Our Cafe was named Mantee after a traditional Armenian dish of oven-baked artisan made boat shaped ravioli with garlic yogurt sauce topped with sumac & red pepper. The menu features a range of Mediterranean classics with an exotic flair such as, sweet and sour cherry kebab and more. With a dreamscape backyard patio and charming rustic decor, Mantee provides guests with a romantic atmosphere to experience a Mediterranean dining at its finest.

First time dining at Mantee Cafe and what a wonderful find on Yelp it was! Wanted to find a pre-Hollywood Bowl restaurant nearby before taking Shuttle to the Bowl, and found Mantee Cafe and had amazing food and an AMAZING and ENTERTAINING Waiter Will who kept us smiling and well-fed before our Grease Sing-A-Long at the Bowl. Dishes we throughly enjoyed were the Hummus, Hot Feta, Motabbal, Tabbouleh, Chicken Kebabs, Mantee Tranditional and Branzino were all delicious. Will definitely go back next time we're in the area! Go dine there, you'll love it. Oh, we sat on their outdoor patio in the back!

The dinner menu is filled with cold and hot appetizers, a few salads such as fattoush, and about 5 or six appetizers making this a perfect restaurant for ordering several appetizers to share. The fattoush, sharma (stuffed grape leaves), hummus, and chicken kabob we are fresh, flavorful and delicious. The restaurant is tiny with less than 10 tables in the front dining room but with an enclosed garden and back dining room that add another dozen or so tables. The decor is charming with mismatched old tables and bleached wood floors and white washed walls. Wonderful service!

My daughter and I stopped for dinner on a recent evening. It was a nice night and we were happy to sit outside in their little courtyard garden. There were so many appetizers, we opted for the hummus with sausage (a step above), eggplant dolmas with yogurt dressing, the fatoush salad, and their specialty mantee . We loved the crunchy boats filled with savory beef and tangy yogurt. A fun tasting experience!

We had an excellent tasting of appatizers at Mantee Cafe. There were three of us sharing four apps and wine for approximately $118 w tip. The food was very tasty and the portions were perfect for three. We did make a reservation and were seated immediately.
