Another great SBE venue, the drinks are great and the food is always on-point.

One of the busier restaurants in town.

“Must visit!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Great Middle Eastern tapas! Can't complain about a single thing we tried. From the dips to the moussaka to the Shwarma, all were exceptional. The food is pricey and portions are tapas style so small but still quite filling and all very delicious so worth every penny! :) would definitely visit again!

“Good Mediterranean Tapas”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

This place is pretty good. Expensive? yes but all in all, pretty good. We ordered the brussel sprouts to start off with and they were absolutely delicious! Just like what everyone is raving about. Probably the best brussel sprouts I have ever had! The lebaneh with feta was also to die for. It was just perfect. I preferred this over the hummus. The falafels were also pretty good. The salad was just like any salad. The leaves weren't cut up so each person got to cut their own pieces of a giant leaf. It was good but nothing special. The flatbread with mushrooms was good but not amazing. All in all, I would be back. It's a great place to take someone with a date. For a group of 3 girls, we spent over $120 so about $40/person. The drinks were also pretty good but my friend said her cocktail was really strong. This is a place where you do not want to dress down. It's a nice place. The service is also outstanding!

“Amazing 'modern' Middle Eastern food”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

Cleo is a popular and bustling restaurant located in the Redbury hotel. It has a modern ambience with dimmed light and is full of trendy people. Making a reservation is highly recommended, for a reason, because the food at Cleo is easily the best middle Eastern food I ever had outside of the Middle East.

The menu focuses on appetizer / tapas sized portions, also of the dishes which in the Middle East are usually main courses. This way as a couple you can easily share 6-8 different dishes. Every single dish we had was excellent. Not only was the execution authentic, but often with a twist that makes it even more exciting. They also have some 'fusion' dishes on the menu that are worth a try.

Service was professional and quick. As to value - although the single dishes seem inexpensive, it's adding up. At the end your dinner probably wasn't as cheap as you thought when seeing the prices on the menu, but totally worth it.

Cleo was a culinary highlight of our trip and is highly recommended to anyone who likes Middle Eastern or so called Mediterranean cuisine and is looking for a memorable dining experience.
