The name "Chado Downtown" might confuse readers. This is Chado located downtown, but didn't come up on the search when I typed in Chado. We had a great time and the food was delicious. Even the young girls enjoyed it. We opted for the $18 and split $3, and an extra pot of tea. We had peppermint tea and apricot and both were delightful. The "afternoon tea" came with the tower of foods which included 4 sandwiches. The girls likes the chicken sandwich the best, but the salmon was great and the turkey/cranberry too. Nothing was not eaten and it was a great time. The scone was on the 2nd self and came with delectable cream and jam. The bottom shelf had the cookie and a small dessert, both were fantastic. We happily paid and told them we enjoyed it so much. Only men were serving that day, but they were happy to have us. We called in for a reservation but didn't need it. the place filled up about 12 noon. Outside waterfall was not working but it was still beautiful and decorated a bit for the holiday. We'd recommend it and we will be happy to eat there again.
