“Historic Hollywood Stars & Bars”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

Not only was Youssef an excellent tour guide, he was also great company, a fun friend, a good story teller, and passionate about his job.
To be honest, if it was my job to take people to bars, I'd be pretty passionate about my job too haha!
Youssef did a lot of research on all the places we visited, and answered all my questions in the best way possible.
I never even would've known about some of these places, if it wasn't for this tour!
Boardner's is going to be on my list for my next visit!
And I was most surprised by the Roosevelt hotel, so beautiful!
Refreshing Hollywood tour!

“Ethnic Neighborhoods & Food Tour”
Reviewed December 12, 2013

We live in LA but always enjoy being a tourist in our own town. We have taken a number of walking food tours but this was completely different. We covered much more ground than is typical by taking the bus & the metro, as well as walking. Our guide, Summer was terrific. She is very knowledgeable about the area and shared many an interesting fact. The food stops were diverse and good. Loved going to the Korean & Thai markets! In addition to the food related stops, we also explored other historically (for LA) significant places along the way.

“Ethnic neighbourhoods food tour”
Reviewed December 10, 2013 via mobile

We had less than 24 hours in LA and wanted to do something other than the typical LA experience. We got to go to Koreatown, Little Armenia and Thai town. The food we had was varied and very, very good. Our tour guide Summer also told us about the local history of buildings, restaurants and the different immigrant populations. If you're interested in food and local stories, you will enjoy this tour...we most certainly did.

“Something fresh and different in Hollywood”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

Great option for a few hours walking through this interesting and historical area. We did Hollywood 101 with Summer, who is a low key local who knows everything about the area. The pace was relaxed but we really learned a lot and saw heaps including some movie star homes of old and new. Just going into The Roosevelt and hearing the history is a treat - we would never have gone inside. The Community Garden is a wonderful way to escape the crazy streets of Hollywood and so very close - Vladimir and his locals have a beautiful space. Runyon Canyon was fantastic and yes we saw a supermodel. So much info but nice and relaxed. Do it to get away from the usual tourist traps or when you need an outdoor break with a guide. Good value.

“No service”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

We called telephone number several times and left two messages. No one ever returned calls. No one ever answers just goes to the voicemail. Very frustrating. We were in America for only 3 days. We wanted the food tour. Bad customer service.

Dear Walter,

We are so sorry to hear about your bad experience with our phone system. As we are often out on tour, we rely heavily on voice messages and emails in order to contact customers. We had one message left recently on which we could not hear all the numbers in order to make the call back and we apologize if that was your message.

Please be aware you may always book your tour directly through our website at no additional cost. We would like to offer you a special discount on any one of our tours for your next visit to Los Angeles and ask that you contact us by email and ask for Summer in order to make the arrangement.

We apologize again for any inconvenience and wish you the best in your future travels.
