I'd never heard of this place, but the waiter told me they're famous for their guacamole. It's $14 a bowl, but it was really good. The rice was my favorite though. I'd go back here for sure.

Thought we'd try a new Mexican restaurant before the concert at Staples last night. So, OK, the food and margaritas were good, SMALL and pricey, but good.
However, we arrived about 5:30 - :45, well before the rush, unfortunately interupting the 3 staff at the hostess station from apparently super important business. They made it clear it was an imposition to ask to be seated, so we were waved to the bar / patio. Note both the restaurant and bar / patio were half empty.
Which makes the really poor service harder to understand, until it became busy and the service became worse. Next to no checking in for new drink orders or food orders. One completely wrong food order and multiple deliveries for other tables.
We finally headed into Staples for a pretzel and hot dog to hold us through the concert.
No desire to donate another $65 + to leave hungry, much less appreciated as a customer.

We went for dinner at BLT Steak, but stopped in here for a few drinks. We sat down at the bar and Carlos was awesome! Finally some southern hospitality! We gave us a couple sample drinks and even offered live guacamole! I would highly recommend this place for bar, because we did not have dinner. Ask for Carlos!

Nice menu with some different choices. The salsa and chips are a disappointment, but probably because they push their guacamole made at the table. Not sure its worth the $20-25 per person, but the food was good. Service is adequate.

The food was wonderful. "Fresh" is my most favorite adjective and requirement; Rosa Mexicano met that perfectly. We requested "spicy" and they accommodated that request as well.
The restaurant is streetside and the outdoor seating is on the sidewalk. I hesitate to even post photos of the interior because part of the fun of this restaurant is the unexpected delight in the beautiful and imaginative decor!
