We were in downtown L.A. with our daughter who happens to love Macaron's and stopped by Bottega Louie’s. It's a pretty big space on the corner of Grand & West 7th Street. The location has a restaurant, cafe, bar, and bakery. We wanted to try all of the items in the bakery area. LOL They were all so well presented and served to us in the cafe area. We decided on the Tiramisu, Éclair, and selection of Macarons. All went well with the espresso drinks, too. We couldn't leave without ordering a few more items for take-out. My daughter ordered the Macaron box of 5 select flavors of her choice. She said they were the best Macarons she has had. Crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside, and flavorful! The staff was also friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. A young man who had been working at Bottega Louie’s for a few years served us, and he told us what some his favorites were! Those were some of the items we got to go. We were not disappointed!

Was visiting Los Angeles and went there for lunch. The place was packed and a little loud, but the service was wonderful and the pizza was great. Of course we cased out the pastry display up front before we were seated so we knew exactly what we wanted to finish off our lunch. I had the yummy chocolate éclair....oh so good and my friend had the tiramisu! We just loved it there!

We went to Bottegs Louie for a late breakfast. The room is large white with very high ceilings, the entrance is a rainbow of color and confection, a treat for the eyes. Our server was amazingly friendly and competent, a surprise for us, since in the past, waitstaff in LA were usually less than stellar. We started with beningets, heavenly is the word to describe them .
The pancakes were not so wonderful and the scrambled eggs were ok. Salmon eggs Benedict was the winner.
Before we left we stocked up on pastries. The variety of macaroons was over the top, so I purchased 5 different
Flavors. The raspberry and salted Carmel were the winners. I easily could have bypassed breakfast and skipped straight to dessert. Bottegs Louie is a definetly stop in downtown LA

We had the most wonderful evening in Bottega Louie last week. Treated like royalty the staff were wonderful and efficient, the food was outstanding and the place was FULL. We walked into a wall of sound with people waiting for tables but as we had booked in advance we were seated right away.We tuely had a 'never to forget' experience n.b. don't miss out on the mushroomy things as a taster!

Nice place to visit with friends or girlfriend. Excelent food, drink and service. Besides the restaurant there is a bakery with wonderful pastry. Casual, young and livefull!
