We had dinner here in February with a good friend. It was midway between Pasadena and where we were staying.

We sat outside which was beautiful but a bit chilly. They dragged over two of those propane heaters to keep the table warm.

We started with the eggplant soup and salads (salad of the day with pears and nuts plus one other). The soup was wonderful as was the salads. The soup is on their permanent menu so please try it.

For entrees: a special of 4 cheese ravioli, salmon and chicken kabob. Everything was very good. I confess I had a miserable cold so the fact that I could taste the soup and love the ravioli ( which was a bit spicy....love spicy).

Service was great, including no fuss from the wait staff when my friend, who is from Australia, brought in a bottle from her recent trip back to visit family.

If you're in the area, definitely reserve a table here with confidence you'll have a great meal with good service. Also keep in mind that they have live jazz on the weekends which may mean inside is a bit too noisy for conversations and one of the reasons we sat outside.

My friend used to live in Los Feliz and her roommate worked here...we would always walk down and grab a cocktail before the night got started or on our way home. This spot is cozy and very friendly. I believe they are known for their sangria which is so sweet and potent! I like the spicy margarita... just ask how spicy it is and they'll make it to your liking.

Great first impression of nice large brick patio w.fire pit, roses on trellis', twinkling lights and lots of portable heaters. Parking is difficult but there is a valet if you can't find a street place. Loved the eggplant soup. Entrees were delicious. Only complaint was the slow...and I mean sloooow...kitchen. Service was good so it was the fault of the cooks. On weekends there is live entertainment inside so if you want to be able to talk sit away from the doors.

What an oasis of loveliness in the heart of the city. Wonderful food with eclectic menu. Very attractive presentation. Large outdoor patio with umbrellas and heat lamps. Small indoor space. Full bar with reasonably priced drinks. Welcoming waiters who can't do enough for you. Do not pass up the sweet potato fries. You can choose your own dessert from their refrigerated pastry display. All of them are excellent. There is a trio playing at night on weekends inside, so outside is where you want to sit. We return again and again and are never sorry.

We took the indoor seating, and it was a nice, cozy restaurant. The music might be a little loud for conversation, but we greatly enjoyed the music, food, and especially the service. It was fantastic that they had a vegetarian menu available as an option.
