Location wise this hostel is perfect, it's litterally a split away from the walk of fame and all the attractions are within a short walk. It's on a side street of Hollywood Boulevard, right opposite of the Dolby Theater. They also arrange a free guided tour around the city.

Walk of Fame Hostel.
Had a great stay at this hostel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the housemaids did a great job. Location is perfect with all sites of interest in easy reach of this central location. Metro trains and buses right outside the front door. Will definitely be returning in 2018.

We arrived in the morning so we went to drop our bags off at this hostel, and the kind staff let us have a shower as we'd just gotten off a long plane ride. Our bags were left in an unlocked room near the front reception, which made us a little nervous. We went up to have a shower and couldn't believe how HOT the hotel was... it was hotter inside than outside!! There were naked people lying on their beds with doors open because the heat was so unbearable. We had a shower and couldn't believe how dirty and horrible they were. In the mens toilets there was poo in the bins next to the loo, and in the females the bins were piled high with all kinds of rubbish. The showers themselves were dirty, the drain cover was off, and there were no locks on the doors. There were fans in the bathrooms but they weren't helping. We told the lady we couldn't stay here and she was very nice about it... but it was an absolute horrible way to start our holiday in LA. Only good thing is the location, but the hostel looked dodgy, unsafe and the heat was ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
I really enjoyed my stay the staff was very helpful at all time and they had good upkeep, it helps to be social with your roommates to avoid the ones who are there with sketch motives which I encountered if something is off ask for a different room.
If travelling solo and on a budget but still want to get the best place to stay, this is it. The hostel room, aisle and restroom are very clean. It is also in front of Hollywood walk of fame. It is near to everything - from place to dine and sightseeing. Plus, it is nearby public transport. They also provide the facility to keep your luggage even after checking out until 12 am the day when checking out.
