We stayed for two nights at the end of July, we had a mezzanine room with a sofa bed downstairs and asked for a fold away bed as we have a teenage boy & girl who don't like to share. All the beds in the room made it tight but the rooms themselves are nice & the staff eager to help. The breakfasts were fine but the location made the hotel perfect. close to venice beach but far enough along the boardwalk to feel safe ( Venice at night can be a bit dodgy). There are some nice bars & restaurants really close by, we ate at the Mexican next door which was excellent & a burger restaurant opposite which although a chain was also very good ( my husband said it was the best burger he had ever had - a jalapeno one!)

We came to the Inn at Venice Beach very last minute! The Malibu Beach house we had rented for the week had a problem with the septic system and we were not able to stay there. We just had two days to find another place to stay for 4 adults - and we found a gem!

The Inn at Venice Beach was just fantastic! The location was perfect close to the beach and beautiful Venice canals - but just far enough away from the wilder area of town.

The hotel is spotless, the staff very accommodating, and the complimentary continental breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Extremely well priced, we were able to get two rooms (one being a loft suite with great gathering space) for waaaaay less than what we would have paid for the house rental.

Things really worked out for the best, and we are so glad we found this hotel. I think we have found our go to hotel for our trips to Los Angeles and the Southern California area!!!

Room Tip: Breakfast room is on the first floor, so these rooms have a bit more traffic in the morning.

We stayed at the Inn @ Venice Beach recently for a couple of nights. It was a very nice experience, especially for the price. It's only a couple of blocks from Venice Beach, restaurants and within walking distance from Abbot Kinney, that has some neat gift shops and boutiques.

The room was clean and spacious with the beds being quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly and were always ready to assist with questions we had and to make suggestions on places to visit in the area. I've stayed here before, years ago when traveling with my sister, and I have to say it's a consistently clean and friendly place to stay.

Pluses include wireless Internet throughout, flat-screen TV's, free parking and a Continental Breakfast in the open-air patio area, which is very welcoming.

I'll definitely be back when my travels take me to the area again.

My husband and I stayed at this boutique hotel 15 years ago, and we just had to take the kids here during our first vacation to California! We love the location--so close to the action on Venice Beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. The kids were particularly intrigued by the orange slinky, the fun beach artwork and the colorful toiletries. We dropped off our luggage and headed straight for the beach--four blocks away. We also revisited a favorite restaurant, C & O Trattoria, just down the street. The next morning, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the open-air courtyard. I was a little worried about the noise since our room door opened right onto the courtyard, but we didn't hear a peep while others were eating. We really appreciated the noon check-out time and spent the morning biking along the Boardwalk. It was so special sharing this place with our kids 15 years later. We hope to go back some day!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in August 2013 and were extremely impressed. It is perfectly positioned, close enough to be able to walk everywhere, but not so close to bars that you a kept up all night. The room was very clean & comfortable and the staff were always helpful and friendly. On site parking was a big plus as well.
Would definitely stay here again.
