“EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

This is by far THE best hotel I ever stayed at. Amazing attention to each and every detail by entire staff. The room was immaculate. Grounds were lush and manicured to perfection. "Canyon suites" offer a large private patio with firepit and private plunge pool. Retractable doors, lavish baths with automated toilets and more. A great find.

Room Tip: 260 is an awesome, 2nd floor room with great privacy. Very quiet.

We arrived at the Bel Air for a week with great anticipation and excitement hoping it would
be as wonderful as it looked when we had brunch there 5 years ago.
From the moment we drove up to the moment we drove away after checking out 5
days later it was sheer Nirvana. There'd was not a minute where the service and staff was not
exceptional, warm and friendly. They knew our names and what our daily wishes were
down to the temperature of the room we desired and that we would request ice in our room everyday at a certain time. The actual hotel suite we stayed in was fantastic cozy elegant and
the most comfortable of any hotel we have stayed in the world.
While it was expensive it was worth every nickel and the some.
Our stay was perfection in every way
This hotel is in a category in and of itself.

Room Tip: There are no rooms that are not spectacular

We had an amazing time here. The most warm welcome upon arrival. Chocolates, fruit, bubbly and a lovely message awaiting us in our room to celebrate our anniversary.

Loved the room, amazingly spacious and clean and beautiful. Gorgeous large bathroom. Fantastic service all round.

The hotel grounds were like a piece of heaven. The swans in the stream are stunning. Exquisite surroundings.

We received fruits in our room every other night. A lovely xmas gift and card. What a classy place!!! We stayed the in the four seasons afterwards for Xmas in Vegas and seriously missed staying in the Bel Air :-)

Our only complain is that there is no sound proofing between upstairs and downstairs rooms. We stayed in room 365 and we could hear people walking, talking, moving chairs, and there is no double glazing on the windows which made the room feel really cold in that spot and let in a lot of noise - people walking past and ground keepers at work.

This was only a problem for us one night where the guests upstairs were partying til late at night and we couldn't sleep until we contacted front desk to sort it out at 2am.

Overall though, a great experience and will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Pick rooms where there are no rooms on top of them or stay on the top floor to avoid noise from othe...

My husband, son and myself where visiting Los Angeles because my mother-in-law was gravely ill. She unfortunately passed away during our stay. The staff at the hotel was so lovely and sympathetic. They sent us flowers, extended our stay, and checked on us to make sure we were OK. We appreciate all their help during this difficult time.

We stayed 2 nights as part of a 3 week trip to the US to celebrate my birthday. Hotel Bel-Air was our first point of call and it was a truly wonderful stay. The property is an oasis, with beautiful gardens and a classic Hollywood glamour to it. We stayed in a patio suite and the standard of the room was exceptional. The addition of technology made everything that much easier, especially in-room dining. The bar was great - perfect cocktails and a really good ambience. The service was excellent. After dinner out on our second night, I returned to the room to find a chocolate birthday cake, champagne and rose petals on the bed. The staff had gone above and beyond to make our stay memorable for all the right reasons. There was nothing to fault about this hotel and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful & classic high class hotel. The spacey rooms are excellent, full of smart systems (which are easy to use). Bang&Olufsen tv-systems, services via iPad, intelligent lighting and air condition, very good minibar.
The atmosphere is friendly, sophisticated but also cozy. Beautiful garden. Wonderful staff, very caring, very service minded. The food was a bit expensive - though very good taste & quality. Try Bel-Air's own smoothie as part of your breakfast.
I would have liked to try the spa, but I felt it was too expensive (approximately $200-400/treatment).
Lobby, bar, restaurant, garden - everything so beautifully decorated, and once again, super-service everywhere.
Courtesy Car - excellent drivers, excellent service.
Will definetely return.
