“This is a must!! Legendary palce!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

Every time I come to LA this place is the top of my list to visit. Its history alone is a reason to drop by.
I was very impressed with the $10 fee to get in as you receive 2 free drink vouchers for this.
The music is always really good and this place has such an awesome sleazy hollywood atmosphere!
When I was in here most recently, Lemmy out of Motorhead was chilling on he games machine in the corner casually as Ace of Spades was playing...quite surreal!!
The locals are really friendly and everyone is out to have a good time and enjoy the music and the vibe!
Not a place to go for a nice chilled meal but definitely a MUST if you like your 80s rock/metal!!
My favourite bar in Hollywood!!

“Dark side of the Rainbow”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

This place left me feeling a bit sick. Hugely overpriced for truly terrible food served by a waitress who was ultra friendly to get her tip and then ignored us. If you do order food, don't visit the toilets during your meal; you will want to leave immediately.

“Good, if they know you. . . Need to be known as a regular”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

Went in a couple of times. A lot of Walter Mitty characters sadly dressed up to look like famous people. Suppose they're not really bothering anyone, and if they are spending money in the premises, hey - a good thing. Young server from Reno, if true, was friendly enough, but seemed a bit fed up with tourists asking for a well known American beer and diet supplement - bud and cheeseburger. . . 2nd visit I had really bad vomiting after throughout the following day at Lax, and during the flight. Not been like that since 1995 after bad chinese. Might not have been the meal in Rainbow, but this is true and it was only after the meal I knew something was wrong. If, next time, it will be drinks only. Waitress was nice but bar staff assume their celebrities. . . Quite funny to watch. If I see your pay packet, then I can choose whether to endorse that behavioural pattern, lol !

“The integrity of this place has gone down!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

As a regular of this place for more than 30 yrs this place and its vibe has and is unfortunately deteriorating!

I remember a time when these waitresses were sexy, pervocative, fun and above all friendly with great service. Unfortunately that was not the case in my last visit!

This girl with long black hair & tattoos was nothing less than a rude stuck up C..T!

If Mario the owner had been there when I was, I assure that would've been her last night!

Don't let this review disrupt your self curiously, it does have a lot of amazing history, food and of course their killer PIZZA! Not to mention there's always a GREAT chance to meet & hang with rockstars & pornstars as I have had the opportunity to do many many times!

“If you are in LA and into Rock/Metal, you must visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012

We got here about 7.20pm on Monday 3rd Sept (Labor Day) and easily got a table amongst the regular celebs (Kevin Bacon and Chuck Zito at the nearest tables to us).

We were served well, the food was good and plentiful. We stayed until about 10pm when we headed off to the House of Blues for a gig.
