“If you are in LA and into Rock/Metal, you must visit”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

We got here about 7.20pm on Monday 3rd Sept (Labor Day) and easily got a table amongst the regular celebs (Kevin Bacon and Chuck Zito at the nearest tables to us).

We were served well, the food was good and plentiful. We stayed until about 10pm when we headed off to the House of Blues for a gig.

“Historic but...”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

Historic place (even going back to the previous tenants when Marilyn Monroe used to frequent) with big ties to Guns n Roses, Motley Crue and Motorhead but it isn't especially welcoming to tourists (particularly as we went as a family with kids) and we did feel out of place amongst some of the obvious regulars and felt rushed by the staff. Prices are also far too high for the beer and the basic food! Go for the novelty but don't expect too much!

PS check out Lemmys Ms Pac-Man machine by the bar and the band names on the wall outside.

“Loved it, but...”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

The portions are HUGE and the food is good. Our server was also very nice. Gotta admit though that we we were lucky to go for lunch cuz the place is small!! Way smaller than it appears in videos ;)

Reminded my husband of a Hard Rock Cafe, but it has way more history...and dust. So much so (on heir fake plants and blinds) that it old be a turn off o some people

I would go back in a heartbeat though

“Great food at a place with great history”
Reviewed July 31, 2012 via mobile

We ate here on a late afternoon so we were the only ones eating inside. That gave us a great opportunity to browse all the fantastic rock memorabilia adorning the walls. This place has a rich, long history. The food was excellent, too. Large portions. The calamari appetizer was not only delicious, but the amount was huge. The waiter was very friendly and polite. If back in the area, I will certainly be going back.

“Great late night meal”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

After an evening of music and dancing we always stop here for a late night snack. Love the rocker crowd and memorabilia. Food has never been dissapointing. Service is sharp. Only for the young or young at heart at this hour. Great after party vibe.
