This experience is indeed an experience. It's got 3 parts.

1) The space shuttle: first you go through the introduction area, then see a short movie on how they brought the shuttle to its end station. Finally you getbto see it in real life. It's amazing to see it. The size is very impressive.

2) The hand on experience. There is so much to see, do and feel (ice wall of 3m x 4m, play with mud and see what water does to it, make airwaves with a drum and much more).
There are animals. Up to about 14 years it's cool to do I think. Although as an adult I like playimg aroumd with it as well.

3) IMAX theater: cool movies in 3D. We went to see Hubble as it seemed a nice addition to the Space Shuttle. The size of the screen is huge.

Part 1 and 3 you need to pay for but as an adult I paid app. $10 for a ticket including Space Shuttle and 1 IMAX movie. Now that's value for money.

My youngest son aleeady wants to go back :-)

Admission is free, but the Endeavor tickets are $2. Advanced reservations are recommended during their busy times. The rest of the Science Center was very interactive and probably more suited for little kids. We were there on Friday and there were lots of kids on field trips. We still had a great time.

Lots for kids and adults to interact and investigate. Worth the $2 to see Endeavor! Only con is eating. There were so many people there (on a Tuesday afternoon) that getting lunch downstairs was a bit of a nightmare. I would definitely go back as there was much we didn't see.
