We went here as our hotel was very close to it - but having done disney the day beforehand, this was a pale comparison. It wasn't much cheaper but the rides were nothing like the level that disney have. We did like the mummy rollercoaster ride, and my wife loved shrek 4d - however the other stuff was a bit old fashioned, and we regret not just doing a second day at disney instead.

Lots of people. Very crowded.
Lines start at the ticket booths, at least 30 minutes, even for online purchases.
Then they take your fingerprints "for your safety". Yes, the staff is rude.

Then each ride takes about 15-25 minutes of standing in line. There are about 10 rides. These rides are boring. Yes, they are a roller coasters but aside from that, they are simply plain and boring.

There is one specific ride that is very interesting. It is a bus ride through the real back stages of different movies for about 40 minutes. It was cool to see how all those movies were made. But it's only one ride.
The food in the food court is also horrible and very expensive.
You decide if it's worth $70 per person per day... a good idea would be to pay $300 for VIP access and avoid all these lines... for myself, I made a decision. That decision is a title of this review.

Large parts are under construction. We were expecting more. Overall there are about 10 attractions, some are nice, most are based on 3-D illusions, with few include real full motion. The studio tour is very nice and so is the Simpsons ride, but no real thrill there.

We have a yearly pass and go a few times a month. We always vary the route so the park always feels different. Currently they are doing construction, and some areas can get packed with traffic. If you go early try to visit the rides in the lower area, then do the tram and after that do the rides in the top. This way you beat the crowds.

Best value tickets are at Costco $79 for a year pass. Whether you go one day or more is the best price.

If you will go often, take a look at our approach. We have 4 passes (which got at Costco) and upgraded one pass to a premium pass at the park. This cost $100 for the upgrade. Here is the benefit. Now we don't have to pay the $16 parking fee every time, as free parking is included with the upgrade. After a few visits to the park it is worth it and you will save a lot. This works out if you are planning to go at least more then 7 times in a year.

You can bring your own food and snacks into the park. Eating on the go or while in line saves a lot of time

Stop by a 99 cent store and purchase ponchos. Jurassic park and water world are wet attractions. Ponchos in the park are $5

Have fun!
