“The Front of Line Pass is Definitely Worth it!!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

It was so much fun to visit and experience what Universal Studios has to offer. Our advice would be to invest the money in the Front of Line Pass if you can afford it. Seriously, during peak season, we had literally no wait time for all rides and shows and when you are there the extra money feels very much worth it when some of the wait times for an attraction get up to 75 mins. We would also suggest you don't worry about paying extra for preferred parking...the general parking works well and is not that much further to walk, save your money. If you love movies, enjoy having fun, would definitely recommend.

“Plan your visit and arrive early!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Following the advice of other reviewers, we immediately went for the top 3D attractions at the 'lower lot', incl. 'despicable me'. If you then take the studio tour, you'll already have done a lot by noon, without needing any VIP or supplementary pass. With the waterworld show and other shows complementing our day, we did a lot without any major queuing :-)

The integration of 3D virtual rides is amazing in this park and makes it impressive, besides its 100 yrs movie history. On the other side, it is crowdy and not cheap for a 'compact park' which is why we only give 4 out of 5.

“Made many memories!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Our family enjoyed our day at Universal Studios. There were so many interesting things to see and do! The entertainment was great! My youngest had the pleasure to meet the "Transformers" this is a day he will never forget! Thank you for making that available to all whom choose to have character encounters! Those are priceless moments for parents to see their children's eyes light up with excitement and joy!!

“Fantastic Day of Fun”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

We chose to do the VIP tour of Universal Studios and whilst it is considerably more expensive I think the cost is definitely worth it. The park in itself is fantastic with fun rides and so many interesting things to see but the VIP experience made it even better. We were treated to a lovely buffet breakfast to start the day, we had our own tour guide who was wonderful and full of information and insights. We were ushered to the front at every ride and attraction and at lunchtime we were treated to the best buffet lunch I have ever seen! The food was amazing and far superior to any buffet I've ever been to before. Universal Studios we loved our day with you and would highly recommend this as a 'must do' while in LA. I particularly like trying to pick out in movies and TV shows the bits that are filmed at the various 'lots' that we saw at Universal!

“Mayhem”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

Arrived on 23rd July done all the rides with my partner and 2 boys (10 and 13 yrs). Very crowded and enjoyed all rides but the minion ride will stick in our mind for all the wrong reasons. The time board said 60 mins, after 120mins we got on the ride. Young children in the queue were sitting on the ground, older people were exhausted. Water was given out by staff and a big ball giving to the queue to pass about which was fun but once you got to the ride and a quarter of your day is gone you are hoping for the best minion ride ever. It was good but not worth that wait. The prices for food were also inflated. Had a pizza at the Italian restaurant. Again 40 min queue and $32 for a large pizza then had to stock the tables to get somewhere to eat it. Not too impressed.
