The fish that is served here is fresh and well-prepared. The portions are generous and the service is generally quite good. Aside from the prices, there isn't much bad I can say about this restaurant.

It is one of my best restaurants. I like the ambiance and food. There is no scenic view: however, it is a very pleasant restaurant. It is the original Fish Company . Fish is always so fresh, and not just fresh frozen. There is a beautiful display of different kind of fish and shell fish just as one enters the restaurant. It is opened at 11:30 am and by noon it is packed. It takes some time just to read the menu: Avocado stuffed with dangeness crab and bay shrimp, smoked wild albacore or king salmon (absolutely delicious), jumbo lump meat crab cakes. New England clam chowder is one of the best soups i have ever had. Salads are fabulous. Lobster and crab combo is incredible. Service is very good. The stuff makes me feel so special. And if you are in a hurry, you can have your food to go. Wine list is pretty impressive. Prices are very competitive. Great restaurant.

Visited here for the first time in a while for Valentine's Day and got reminded that we need to come here more often. Everything about this place is first class and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. I always have the spicy steamed mussels. They are the best one can get this side of the Atlantic. But everything on the menu is equally good. Atmosphere and service is also impressive. If you want excellent seafood with a wide selection this is the place. You will probably have to wait but it is well worth it. Just get a glass of Chardonnay and review the menu. You will be glad you did.

I eat here every time I am in town. The clam chowder is THE BEST. The fish is really good. Lots of variety and great vegetables, cooked al dente, it is fresh, tasty food with friendly service. I have no hesitation in recommending it, as long as you like fish! I have only managed desert here once.

Three of us visited this restaurant last week because we heard good things about it and we were looking for a good seafood dinner. The restaurant is set back from the road and you might miss it if you aren't paying attention. We all started with the clam chowder and we all agreed that it was the best clam chowder we have had anywhere. Two of us had the scallops on a skewer and one of us had the filet mignon and schrimp on a skewer. The scallops were done perfectly and that is a rarety in seafood restaurants, who usually overcook seafood. The beef was also done exactly the way it was ordered. The schrimp was overcooked but that can be attributed to the time it spent on the skewer with the beef to get the beef to its desired doneness. All three of us were seniors and none of us were able to eat even half of our main course because after the bowl of chowder and some of the warm sourdough bread (which was also delicious) we were full. So, we had the meals packaged up and had another meal at home the next day.
We had asked if the restaurant served a lighter appetite meal but the answer was NO, unfortunately. We were there on a weekend and apparently there is a smaller portion meal available during mid week?.
The meals area little pricey but the food is cooked exactly the way seafood should be cooked.
