Just stayed the week here. The property is nice and the staff is very polite. My room was nice except the bathroom had hair in the tub and the sink didn’t seem very clean. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. I had dinner in the restaurant once and there were lots of choices.

We stayed at the Long Beach Hilton while we attended a convention. The hotel is easy to get to off of the 710 Freeway. The hotel has ample indoor and outdoor self parking. Checking in the main lobby was easy. Staff at the front desk were friendly, professional, and helpful.

The hotel is spacious and clean and decorated in a modern fashion. Our hotel room on the 8th floor had a nice view of outlying areas of downtown. The room was comfortable, clean and inviting. The room had a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and a wide screen TV.

Off from the main lobby, is a small coffee bar with sandwiches and salads. A great place for fast food and taking a break. There is also bar on the other side serving beer, wine, and cocktails. On the second floor, is a larger dining area and restaurant with a wide food selection. Food and beverage prices were in the moderate to higher level.

The hotel has a nice outdoor pool and a gym. The gym is open 24 hours per day.

The hotel is located off of one of the major streets in Long Beach. The hotel is close to a number of eateries, restaurants, and key points of interests.

This hotel was a wise selection for a convention. As we reflect back, we had a great time at a convention in a very nice hotel.

When we return to Long Beach, we would likely stay at the Hilton. We enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The hotel made us feel at home.

Room tip: Rooms on the upper floor facing the ocean have the best views

We are Hilton gold members- that is important to note because if you are lower than that I am guessing you will be paying for breakfast- which has a hefty $$. They don't really advertise this, but we were able to get made to order omelets. Food was ample and we had a carafe of coffee all to ourselves.

We were there for a conference held at the hotel. Typical conference facilities. It is a little tired looking though certainly up to Hilton's standards for cleanliness and comfort. The location is excellent. If you are up to walking, it is not far to get to the Aquarium of the Pacific or the Queen Mary. The immediate area is industrial and business-oriented- not terribly pretty. Go west for a few blocks and there will be a trail that hugs the coastline. We opted to take bus #121 (just across the street- $1.25 at the time we went) and headed to Belmont Shores, a very pretty ride. Belmont Shores is essentially a stretch of eateries and boutiques- nice for an afternoon stroll.

There are many places to eat near the hotel (see my reviews for Utopia and James Republic). There is an available shuttle that operates most of the day to take you downtown (but not beyond). We took an Uber from LAX- got a bit taken as the driver took a wrong turn and we ended up paying the same amount for a taxi for our way back.

Room tip: Try for a (little) water view- it's not much but guessing better than at the rear of the hotel.

Ok hotel but nothing around the hotel. Rooms were comfortable - hate bathtubs though. Gym was very small and didn’t have much. No locker rooms. Pool is a play pool and freezing water. Conference facilities were great. Bar was good with good food and an entertaining Barman. Cafe is good but closes way too early and no where nearby to get another. Front desk staff were poor - too distracted chatting to each other which is good but no urgency to check you in. Overall ok hotel but would not be my first choice and I love Hilton.

Great accommodations for the price. Slept well, clean rooms, friendly staff, great food, love this place. Can’t wait to come back. I appreciate the business office with access to the printer. Love the staff and food. Breakfast in bed was awesome. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Long Beach.
