Comfortable, clean, great staff, and a good place to rest during a trade show we attended as exhibitors. All rooms are comfortable, clean and a great rest.

We happened to have been there in May - and we are surmising it was Prom Night. Our room had windows facing the lovely pool, which was in full swing with Prom revelers. As we had to be up early to set up our booths at the trade show, and the high schoolers tended towards a bit shrieky in their exuberance, and it was getting towards 11 p.m., we called management to ask if they could request a bit of a tone-down. Within 5 minutes we had complete quiet. Management was quite responsive!

A word of advice - don't wander too far away from the hotel at night. We were trying to find a restaurant after the trade show, and it was around 9 p.m. The area around the hotel is fine, but we wandered a bit further and it felt a little sketchy.

Room Tip: Shy away from rooms with windows on the pool side - our experience is that the pool partyers can get...

This hotel is in a great location but has seen better days. It needs a renovation. But the staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. 5* Service in a three star worn out hotel. If you stay here, get the low down from the staff on Long Beach. The bad area of town is not that far away.

Room Tip: My room was on the 7th floor facing the direction of the water. I did not have a water view but the...

For a hotel that wasn't very busy, it sure was noisy. Most of the noise was the heavy doors closing and unmentionable sounds from our neighbors bathrooms (we could hear someone urinate as clear as day from the room above us). Also some of the guests were quiet noisy when in the pool area.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but only at an adequate level. The bathroom was a little small but clean. And there was not very much room from the door to the main part of the room which made check in and check out quite a task even with a moderate amount of luggage.

As for the location, it's convient to the beach, cafes & there's a Von's across the street. When out walking we witnessed two young males fighting on the sidewalk and flashing gang symbols at each other. This was about 4 in the afternoon. Also, lots of homeless are at the beach during the day. We didn't feel safe leaving our belongings on the sand while going for a swim. Overall, the area is a little sketchy.

This is a nice Courtyard in a great Long Beach location. The check in associates were very friendly and I was quickly on my way up to the room.

And the best surprise of all was a stunning view of the Queen Mary along with Long Beach harbor. It really gave a unique Long Beach flavor to the stay.

The rooms are partially renovated - they have flat screen TV's but the carpet, bathrooms and furniture are looking a little worn and due for an overhaul. But the positives of the hotel - the warm and friendly associates and the great location go a long way to offset the tired appearance of the rooms.

A quick note on the great location - there are a ton of restaurants, coffee shops and even a store within an easy walk. I was surprised at how cool Long Beach is and this hotel is in the best location to drink it all in.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Queen Mary.

Perfect hotel, great staff, and fantastic location. Easy walks to many different local shops, cafes, and restaurants which all boast different choices for a great meal. Nicholas was kind enough to give me and my wife complimentary parking & a one morning of breakfast at the buffet as we were on our honey-moon. Rooms were neat, clean, and tidy, A/C worked great, and there was adequate water-pressure in the shower at all times. Though we didn't use the couch, it has a fold out bed which would be good for one or two more people probably. Definitely would stay again! 5 stars!

Dated hotel in a nice location.
Hotel is convientantly located downtown, walking distance to most restraunts, convention center and other attractions. Staff was very friendly and lobby was warm and welcoming. There is a restraunt on site, but I did not eat there. Rooms were okay, nothing special, air conditioning system is old and noisy, had a mini balcony, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were small but accomodating, parking onsite available for $12 which I thought was fair considering the location. The area was quiet at night and appeared to be safe, there is security in the lobby after hours. recommendation: if you enjoy walking and running, do not go north, the area gets rough pretty quick.

This hotel is just what you'd expect from a Courtyard. Well kept, clean, and a friendly staff. WiFi in the hotel had good bandwidth, the room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. Like most Courtyards, the couch in the room was very uncomfortable (the cushions seem too small for the frame), but that wasn't a huge problem for me. My only complaint about this hotel was breakfast. The food on the buffet could've been fresher. The selection also wasn't great. The worst part was that my table was very sticky. Like tore my newspaper sticky. It was kind of gross. I didn't realize this until I had my food and sat down. There wasn't another table available and I was running late, so I managed. Otherwise, a perfectly nice Courtyard.
