Our group of four adults and an 11-month-old baby went out to celebrate a birthday at a 555 East, known for its great steaks. The food was really good, the service was excellent, and most of the staff took a little time to come and talk to the baby, which was nice. It's a beautiful restaurant, done in dark woods, and situated in historic downtown Long Beach. There is a beautiful bar up front. They have valet parking, but when we arrived the valet completely ignored us, which meant my husband had to go to the valet station himself to leave the keys with the attendant. When we left the restaurant we found our car parked exactly where we left it, right in front of the restaurant, but my husband had to go to the valet station to retrieve the keys once somebody arrived to unlock the key box. Odd. We've eaten here several times and will happily go back.
