“Gave it a second chance and it wasn't worth it.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

I don't often write negative reviews from all of the restaurants, hotels, and attractions that I've been to, so if I do, it's probably for good reason. I've been to Nino's twice now and have not been satisfied either time. The food isn't very tasty, it's a bit on the expensive side, and the atmosphere is blah. I really wanted to like it the second time around, but came up short. It's too bad, too, because I know they are trying hard to change their appearance and their menu, but so far it hasn't improved. I will probably not go there again.

“Nino's Italian Restaurant-- Great in Long Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

Nino's has been serving excellent Italian food in Long Beach for 58 years. Vincenzo and Inge, and now with son Nino, have cooked and served around the world and now give Long Beach the favor of their talents. Old fashioned attention to quality and service can't be beat. They recently got updated through Gordon Ramsey's visit and a freshening up of the menu. The location shows its age but is comfortable, casual and easy-going. Their long-time local favorites may not be on the menu but are usually available as nightly specials. Try the Chicken Primavera or Lasagna-- the locals can't get enough of these favorites. No seating at the bar but full cocktail and wine and beer service is available at the tables. Try it. Own parking lot on premises, no fuss, no valet, no problem.
