We booked through Hotwire for $100 a night for a king size heavenly bed double room. I thought this was a good rate. Room size was good. Had a view of pool on 9th floor. We were right next to vending and ice machine but never heard anyone use them.
Bed was okay. Loved the shower. Breakfast buffet in morning was $18 a person pricey but very good. The concierge printed out our boarding passes so we didn't have to pay for internet.
Liked the hotel for price I paid. Best western was more expensive than $100.

Booked this property using starpoints as I had to be at the TSA located next door for my son to get documentation. Had emailed in advance about parking and roll away beds. They charge 20 for the bed which was brought up promptly and the parking is 14 per night but confusing to get to, go underground and then there is another level beneath this one.
Got there at 1:30 and was checked in by Tatiana and was offered a 7th floor room or room 1635 near the elevator. We choose the upper floor and usually prefer to be away from the elevator but really didn't hear it at all. We did hear a car alarm going off for an hour on Sunday morning which I'm sure woke everyone up in the hotel.
Our room overlooked the city and pool. The jacuzzi was not clean so passed on that but the fitness area was nice. The ceiling was high and the windows are also with a nice view but they don't open and the air is not too forcefull so it felt stagnant.
The bath was nice but small, like the room and the ceiling paint was peeling, probably the wrong type for moisture and the bedroom had the cottage cheese ceiling.
They do give you a bottle of water and bathrobe and the flat screen tv was nice but the room size would be better with smaller and less furnishings.
The mini bar was locked so I couldn't use the corkscrew which other Westins have out freely.
I wouln't stay there again, as I prefer rooms with balconys and windows that open but it is nicely located and in walking distance to everything.
Typical great service from the conciege, front desk and housekeeping.

My friend and I booked a room last minute at the Westin Long Beach when we discovered that The Turret House where we had booked, was not situated in a safe area of Long Beach for walking to and from the convention center. We were attending a convention and needed to be somewhere close and safe to walk to at night. The Westin was perfect. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. (in room starbucks is nice) We used the work out room which is great also. The 4 treadmills have their own TV attached with head phones. The pool looked nice, but we didn't have bathing suits. The staff were very friendly, especially the evening crew. When I couldn't sleep (1:30 AM)and needed to get a sierra mist AND the machine on my floor was broken, one of the staff brought me sierra mist from the staff lounge.

The hotel was pleasant. We are Starwood members and are assigned a floor because of this. A few of the other quests were having parties, LATE into the evening and then spilled out into the hallways. Not pleasant but it did not last too long .

Would stay at the hotel again if I needed to be in the LB area, but would prefer to stay more north along the pacific coast highway if given the choice. Too much industrial stuff going on. But what we saw within walking distance was nice.

Views are not the best of the ocean - not their fault due to a building in front.

This hotel is very nice. The room has some wear on it, but in general the room is very nice. The room I had was large, the bed was very comfortable, the view was nice, room service was good, the gym is small (but nice), there was always parking in the small garage, the bathroom was clean, nice, and large... on the down side, it is a few blocks from anything... but in general it was great. I would stay here again.

Stayed at the Westin the night before a cruise.

Hotel was spotless clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very comfortable. Great bed! Nice location, walking distance to the harbor area where there were lots of shops and great restaurants.

The Westin Long Beach is located across the street from the Terrace Theater, a block away from the convention center and a ten minute walk from the Aquarium of the Pacific. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance, too. Although it's not on the ocean, its location is about as convenient as you can get.

The hotel is well run. The front desk operations were pleasant and quick. The housekeeping was outstanding. The inhouse restaurant had great service and a delicious (but a little pricey) breakfast buffet in a pleasantly expansive lobby setting. The parking structure under the hotel is easy to negotiate and allows self parking with in and out privileges.

The guest rooms are typical Westin, but soothingly decorated in comfortable pale green. They are spacious and quiet. The room I had was on the top floor, so it had a high ceiling with high windows that let in a lot of light and made the room look even larger. I don't know if other floors have such large windows, but it's worth inquiring if rooms on the top floor are available.

The in-room Internet service is an extra charge, but it was easy to start up and operated with speed and dependability throughout my stay.

My visit to the Westin Long Beach was flawless. If only every hotel could run this well!
