Service Express staff gets many Kudos! Especially Osmin! Great ideas for local food, always there with a big friendly smile and a hand. Greeted us coming and going. All Service Express staff was helpful. Felt like I was staying with family. They took great care of all our needs.
Had a great stay, nice to come back after a very long day at the convention center (short walk across the street), to a nice comfortable bed. Food was great. Light and flavorful. Buffet had a great variety of fare. Lobby and rooms were clean.
Some noise in the rooms mid day, but they are going through some upgrades right now. Other than that I was surprised at how quiet the rooms were.
Thanks!

Room Tip: Ask for Harborside, best views.

Loud hotel and they don't even seem to care. The hotel is being remodeled and it is so loud that I have been woke up the last 2 mornings to the sound of banging and drilling. I called the front desk and spoke to the manager in person, they don't seem to understand the problem. I asked for a different room and they told me these are the only rooms they have. My place of employment outs me up here, if I had to pay out of my own pocket I would stay somewhere else.

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. On arrival, the building is impressive, an attractive curved frontage with a welcoming exterior. On entering the foyer you are presented with an atrium type structure which is quite impressive. Check in is quick and the staff on the whole very forthcoming. Elevators are quick - and then, well, it slightly falls apart. The rooms are a standard size, all good so far. Now, try and find the fridge! Yup, there ain't one. Bathroom superb, beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and best of all an airplane styled toilet. Sadly it won't flush half an unrolled loo roll down it but it is extraordinary! How do they work!? So, back to the room. Well, as said, no fridge, not a major disaster but is disappointing for this standard of hotel. So traipse down to the ice machine ( on every floor) and fill the trash container up with ice. Bed described as 'heavenly'! Uuuum , well not in this case. Pleasant but not Archangel heavenly. Firm, adequate. Linen though, was pretty cool. And then, and then,.....the windows do not open. There is a slit, (not even suitable for the postage of Dover Sole) - they're so thin; I thought they were supposed to allow the ingress of fresh air! Forget it! They don't - and I like fresh air. So the rooms are very stuffy, and that's not in a stiff, starched shirt way, either!! The decor is quite pleasant; huge mirrors if you like that sort of thing! But then we come back to the , "and then....and then bit...!" There is no, or virtually no sound proofing in the rooms. A huge party took place a couple of floors from me - and well, I was there! Great fun but to be honest I really needed the sleep! But thanks Al and Biff! Super bash!
There is a gym, although it is small but adequate! And a pool, looks ok but too cold for me to go for a splash. Car parking...they charge you, but there are plenty of car parks nearby which range from around ten bucks per day. It is well situated, there's a Starbucks nearby ( in the Renaissance) For car hire there is Avis just down the street, as is Hertz, also Enterprise a half mile away, but don't bother, they are fairly up themselves and pricey. Loads of restaurants nearby. So in summary, it's good, but there are better, try the Renaissance, the staff are good, the hotel is good, but, but, ............

I stayed at the Westin while celebrating New Year's Eve in southern California, while with Collette Tours. The rooms were clean and comfortable with TV and a small refridge. The tour provided breakfasts and dinners, so we did not eat in the hotel's restaurant.

The hotel is across the street from the performing arts center and a short walk to the convention center and aquarium.

The hotel has an impressive look when you drive up. Excellent, attentive staff. The bed was like heaven! Awesome pillows. Great food in restaurant and room service. The only negative was the bathroom that needs to be completely refurbished. The excessive amount of rust on the shower rail and shower heads was inexcusable. One sink fixture had a very noticeable leak. I like the location.

Room Tip: Ninth floor very good. Get front view.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this property pre cruise.
We were impressed with the overall look, feel and cleanliness of the hotel lobby and room, the hallway of floor 12 was clean and nice looking, the staff was very nice and professional. With all of that up to expectations we were disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the bathroom fixtures; the shower curtain rod is terribly rusted which makes it look very dirty, also the exhaust vent appeared to not have been cleaned in a long time, there was thick caked on dust at eye level right in front of us while showering and the tub/shower drain drained very slow, we ankle deep water by the end of our showers.
I feel that the bathroom refurbishments in hotels should include overhauling the old tub/shower combo into a more updated shower stall with door.

Avoid 901 as the air conditioning is very noisy, shower drains extremely slow and cold water faucet leaks and one of the two shower heads doesn't work. Hotel issues: no garbage bins around, no pen and notepad, generally old/dirty feeling, especially elevator and parkade. Going through a renovation but seem to have cheaped out on the contractor, hence the faucet leakage. No kids channels on TV, more of a business/conference hotel. OK location and friendly staff. Parking and telephone charge.
