“Good hotel with a great location”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

This seems to be a new hotel in a great location.

The rooms were big and spacious. The bathroom was great with a walk in rain shower. The service was good and staff was very courteous and accommodating.

The location is fantastic with much to do and many restaurants within walking distance nearby.

Usually, on the first night of a trip, my friend and I don't sleep very well due to a variety of issues including hotel comfort, quietness, and quality. No problems at the Hyatt The Pike. What a wonderful room! Well decorated, excellent linens, HUGE shower, comfy towels, and the bed was so comfortable. We both had the best night in a hotel in a long time. The staff was great, and the very reasonable parking fee was a bonus for an inner city hotel. I would happily return to this hotel in the future.

I agree with all the great reviews. Clean, cute, cozy and super convenient for a Convention Center event. Our room with 2 beds was a bit small but it worked; and only two drawers, in the night table -- these were two minor things we really didn't care about. A plus is that the window opens. I found this hotel to be delightful overall, with a very boutique-y feel to it. And yes, there is something different about the staff. They seem calm and relaxed and human. Loved the pool deck - a very relaxing place to spend some time and get a good dose of sunshine. I would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: Our regular room on the 6th floor facing the courtyard was perfectly fine and quiet.

We stayed here for the March Madness in Anaheim. Much nicer, more to do and cheaper than Anaheim. Only 20 minute drive to Honda Center. But this hotel is so nice. Friendly, great service, fantastic rooms, comfortable beds. Workout room is very nice. Pool on roof. But no Spa/ hot tub. TV system is a little old with no HD/ digital networks. But everything else is first class. The area has so many bars and restaurants from corporate blah (Hooters, Outback) to Irish Pub and Pine Ave where it rocks late into the night. All walking distance. Parking is convenient and only $7 per night (cheap for a luxury hotel). I would stay here for anything in the LA/ OC area

Room Tip: All good. But facing the harbor is nice view

We spent one night here and we were very happy. The room was very nice, clean, the bed was very comfortable and all the ammendities provided were wonderful. The service was great too. We would definately stay here again! The only negative is that breakfast was not included but we did eat at there restaurant and the food was very good.

Staying here at the moment (March 2014). I had to book in two days earlier than planned, hotel was very accommodating, friendly counter staff, clean good size rooms, breakfast burrito was a great filling start to the day. Nothing that I have observed so far would put me off recommending this hotel if you are in this area.

Walking distance to the conference centre, and close to many restaurants, parking available for a few dollars a day.

If I had one minor thing, the beds are too soft, but my colleague commented on how good the beds were, so horses for courses.

I came in primarily for the LA marathon, checked in after driving through LA traffic and had a minor fender bender, Megan was super nice and checked me in, Next thing I know, when I came back to room, she left a nice cheese plate and wine for me, It was super sweet and I didn't expect it, The whole time I was there, all of the staff were great, from printing my boarding pass, to providing local hiking directions to holding my luggage because I had a late flight, they even extended my check out time, best customer service I've experienced, thank you for everything! You all made my experience from stressful to memorable!
