Description: George's Greek Cafe welcomes you to "a little piece of Greece in Southern California." Our family-owned business is here to provide you with high quality food, craft cocktails, and an authentic Greek dining experience. Our restaurant has remained a favorite among the locals for one reason: we never compromise on our promise to provide fresh and delicious meals in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We continue to follow Mama Rodou's recipes, which were passed down to her from her grandmother. We use only the finest imported ingredients, such as first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from Greece and premium, hormone-free, grass-fed lamb from New Zealand. We want to extend an open invitation to you to dine at one of our restaurants. Whether you're looking to impress a date with an intimate wine tasting, reconnecting with family over Saganaki Flaming Cheese and lamb chops, or planning the perfect wedding reception for 500 of your closest friends, we are here for you. Come in, and feel like part of the family. OPA!

I Love George's location in Lakewood, but I was near 2nd street and decided to give this location a try. The food was just as great. Parking is a problem for this area, but it's fun to walk around and enjoy all the shops. This location is smal, but we were seated quickly for lunch. I'm sure dinner may be another story, but the wait may just be worth it.

“Love!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012 via mobile

I've eaten at both locations in LB and both are awesome. Having been to Greece its one of the only Greek restaurants I'll eat at. They have some pretty decent wines too.

“Homemade food, great atmosphere”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

By telling you I eat here at least once a week you will know I really like it here. First of all the food is excellent. The salmon is the moistest you will ever find and the gyro salad is great.I normally sit at the bar which is very friendly. They also have excellent people watching tables on 2nd St. See you there!
