Early in the day when arriving in Lone Pine we popped in Mount Whitney for a drink. We fell in love with the place from that moment. Staff were so friendly. Prices were good. We looked at menu and decided to eat here in the evening. The portions were massive and worth every penny. We met the manager and talked about UK. Lewis was really nice and we added him on face book. He need to come to England and open this place there. It's very American with blue leather seats and would love to come here again.

The food was great once we got it! We waited about 30 minutes for our food and the place wasn't really that busy.

This is a close second to Alabama Hills Cafe for breakfast.Has burger meat (like ostrich) you won't find elsewhere. Service can be diffident if the place is busy...

The restaurant is on the main road in Lone Pine, however it was busy and we had to wait for half an hour for a table. Make sure you go for happy hour as there is a special menu and discounts on pitchers of beer. The food was good, particularly the burger. If you're ordering the spaghetti bolognese, it claims is a huge portion - well its not as big as they say so don't be scared to order it!

Absolutely fun restaurant for ambiance. Cool old photos that you would like to walk around looking at. Service is absolutely disastrous, good luck finding a waitress and have her return to ask for anything. Ate breakfast, got 1 cup of decaf, never came back to refill. I finally asked for more and they made a new pot, but it never got to us. Asked for our bill, took at least 5 min. For her to get it to us. Don't think the good ambiance, and average food was worth another trip back to this restaurant.
