The hotel is great! There were two of us and we needed a suite with a door (in order to sleep in separate areas). This place delivered since we are platonic friends we were able to respect and maintain each others' privacy. Great little living room (with sofa bed), two flat screens and friendly service. The bathroom is ONLY accessible through the bedroom.

The hotel also offers free parking, which is great if you are in and out driving to do wine tasting throughout Santa Ynez (as we did).

I was almost NOT going to have the included breakfast because of a previous Embassy Suites' experience but this one was pretty good. All in all, the short two night trip was enhanced because of the choice we made in staying here! I highly recommend it. This is a 3+ star hotel. While it was "no frills" for the most part, I imagine this to be the best hotel in the region.

Located right on Highway 1, this hotel serves friends and family of the nearby Airforce Base as well as those interested in the local vineyards. Not a scenic location, but the rooms were very comfortable and their evening Manager's Reception was very good. They go beyond the required chips and salsa and pretzels. They also had veggies and dip, guacamole, and chips. The free drinks kept coming as soon as we finished one, and the Manager on duty (Colin) was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about Lompoc.

Breakfast did not disappoint either, with so many options. We really like the pond outside the restaurant area that had frogs. It was nice to hear their chirping at night.

Room Tip: We had a first floor room which had a sliding door to the parking lot. We were able to park our two...

We were pleased with our room. The suite is actually a 2 room suite. Small living / dining room but separated from the bedroom with a door. A few years ago we stayed at another hotel across the street, this was so much nicer.
The breakfast is cooked to order with your choice of omeletes, pancakes, etc. plus the full array of bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereals... It was a nice spread. The manager reception had nachos and drinks (wine, beer and cocktails). The wine wasn't bad but considering that the hotel is located in the middle of the Central Coast Wine Country, I was hoping for more!
Nice pool and spa area. Picturesque pond with waterfall and lush vegetation at the back of the courtyard.

We didn't expect much when traveling to Lompoc for a mission's trip, but we were pleasantly surprised with the Embassy Suites. It's a relatively small Embassy Suites by their standards, but the rooms are rather large (our room had a sitting area), the manager's reception was a great one (it actually had real food!!) and the cook at breakfast was a wiz with any egg concoction you could think of. Additionally, the price was more than fair. If we ever find ourselves in Lompoc again, this will be the first place we look to book.

Located west of most of the central coast wine region, a good price for a large room. The staff was great, courteous and friendly, but clearly the building was old style. This was our second time in Lompoc in the past five years. This time disappointing...food mostly drive-in and drive-by. Appears hit hard by the recession.

Room Tip: We were up front, near entry and next to very busy mall restaurants - thus, noisy. Since all suites...

Probably the best hotel in this small town. Room decor could use an update though. Good value and hearty (I think all rates include free) breakfast. Front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly but a little too chatty. I like to check in quickly;)

Stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time and the hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast being cooked by "Sonny" is always good. He is always courteous to the guests. Will stay here again when I am visiting.
