My husband and i recently stayed in our motorhome and both felt that this is a beautiful site! Loved the ducks! Well cared for on a pretty riverside, all amenities excellent. We were just sad that we only found the site on our journey home from Cornwall and therefore couldn't stay longer. We will be back for a future stay.

Awesome site set in spectacular surroundings. Lovely to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the river! Beautiful quiet site with excellent facilities and the walk across the fields to the Peter Tavy pub in the evening was glorious. We will be back!

We have just had a lovely 3 night stay in the Shepherds Hut and truly loved every minute of it, we camped last year, but we loved the hut more so will be back soon.

The facilities are spotless and we'll looked after.

Will recommend to all our friends

Found this campsite some 10+ years ago and visit regularly with family and friends. Set in a beautiful location at Peter Tavy (just north of Tavistock). Wonderful setting, secure and safe for families with children of all ages. The site itself is spotless, excellent pitches which are generous in size. The staff are friendly, helpful and we keep going back. We've been here camping in the spring, height of summer and throughout the autumn. Have also hired a static caravan for the New Year celebrations. Luckily for us this site is about 20 miles away so we can visit weekends when time and work commitments allow. A must for families and friends who fancy a get together.

Room Tip: Would recommend booking in advance for the summer holidays but during the quieter times in the seaso...

We are so glad to hear you keep coming back and have used our camping facilities and self-catering accommodation. As an all-year accommodation provider it was good to know you enjoyed New Year celebrations here. We often welcome local groups of families & friends to enjoy Dartmoor, as it is just a short distance from home or many. Thank you for highlighting what Harford Bridge Park has to offer.

We just finished a three-night stay in our caravan at Harford Bridge. It's the first time we've stayed there but we'll definitely be back. The facilities are spotless and well thought out, the games room and play facilities for children are a godsend and yet, despite all the kids having a great deal of fun the park still manages to be a calm and relaxing place to stay. We asked to be close to the play area for our little one and the owners were very obliging. She made so many new friends she was very sad to leave. The park is right on the river and we had a lovely picnic lunch down by the bridge one day. We also ordered fresh croissants from the reception/shop for two of the days we were there and they were delicious! The service was great - very friendly and efficient. The site is easy to find and on good roads for a caravan.

A short drive away and you're right in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park - divine - and up the road is an excellent pub, the Peter Tavy Inn. They do great food and the service is excellent. We're already trying to work out when we can go back and we've only just got home!

We went with 5 families all pitched right by the river. Excellent site, amenities, location and good pub down the road. Very well maintained and cleaned. Great hot fresh morning croissants too! We will be back.

Excellent again! We stayed on the site last year and my children always ask are we going to Tavistock!

Excellent clean facilities and the owners/staff can't do enough for you especially when they have my 7 yr old son asking numerous questions but as I am disabled and find it difficult to shower standing up I find the disabled facilities a god send!

I can't wait to visit again hopefully in the summer

Exceptional site with exceptional people!! Highly recommended
