Although the long list of well described items on the menu sounded delicious, my first clue that this restaurant was not authentic should have been the sounds coming from the kitchen where our table was situated close to. Everyone was speaking Mexican!!!! The gnocchi was tough and very chewy, and the sauce was so heavily laden with garlic that was all you could taste! We ask for the pesto sauce to add to it, and you could not even taste a hint of basil, only the strong taste of garlic! The bread was NOT the nice European type you would expect - more like a very cheap imitation with no flavor. Even the herbs they put on top were overwhelmed with garlic! The marinara sauce was also overwhelmed with the taste of garlic, so much so that you could not taste the tomato ! We didn't even want to take our leftovers home - and believe me - there were ALOT of leftovers!!
