“Always a Good Choice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We had another wonderful dinner at School Street Bistro last week. We really enjoy our favorite waiter, Wayne. The restaurant can fill up quickly with locals on a Friday or Saturday evening, so make sure to make reservations.

“Great quality food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2013

Enjoyed lunch with 3 other adults. The food was great quality, cooked with fresh ingredients and servings, for once, were appropriate (unlike many servings where they are large, such that the wait staff offer a box to take leftovers in). My only quibble is that even though it was quiet (3-4 tables) the service was a bit on the slow, inattentive side. Notwithstanding - put this on your list for great food in Lodi.

“Definitely not Old School”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

A quaint restaurant in downtown Lodi. The service was great and the meals exceeded our expectations. The bacon-wrapped meatloaf didn't knock our socks off but it was good. It was accompanied by smoked gouda mashed potatoes which were excellent! A pound of clams in white wine, garlic and sundried tomatoes over linguini - superb. The best part of our meal was the appetizer - Delta fried asparagus served with a special sauce. As time went on and more guests started arriving it did get noisy, but none the less, it was a nice evening at school :)

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

A group of us went, ordered, and when they brought out everyone's order mine was missing, because they didn't have the item, because they ran out. They should of told me before everyone got their order. I made another selection, sometime later the waitress came back and said they were out. By now all my friends had eaten and I wasn't in the mood any more. It was poor service.
