“Midtown hidden secret!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

While planning to eat at another facility we stumbled across this restaurant, bakery and winery located on one of the main streets in downtown Lodi. We enjoyed the outside eating and the service was splendid!
Our server recommended their oven baked pizzas and we shared a wonderful vegetarian offering of artichokes, sundried tomatoes, feta and mushrooms and of course garlic. Thier ultra thin crusts from their brick oven was wonderful and we also enjoyed their walnut, cranberry salad, complete with a slice of wonderful bakery bread from thier own ovens and a peanut butter cookie! What an interesting touch.
Many people were stopping for take out and bakery and pastries items to enjoy over their holiday weekend . The inside eating area near the bakery was very old world italian and had their wine cellar there too! Can't comment on that as we are teetotalers but the reviews at the hotel and around town were excellent for the entire place.
Would definitely come here again. Their breakfast brunch looked fantastic and so did their selections of soups and sandwich combos for lunch. The couplle next to us were raving over thier individual chicken pot pies so a wide variety of menu options ae available here!

“The restaurant was beautiful!!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

This is the first time I've been here. Unfortunately I did not try the wine because I had grandkids but the restaurant and wine tasting area was beautiful. The lunch was perfect too. Since they have their own bakery, the bread on the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. I will be back very soon.

“order, wine taste then eat”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

We walked it at 1:30 and had to wait for them to clear a table. There were several tables that had not been cleared from lunch which did not look good as we walked in door. The service was good otherwise. We ordered and then while our food was being prepared we went in back for 3 complimentary wine tastings. We bought a bottle of wine their Red Zorro wine for later. We then returned to our table to have our house salads and the appetizer House Special Plate (antipasto). The house salad was very good. The House special plate had 2 types of bread, 2 kinds of cheese, crackers, 1 type of olives but only 4 small slices of plain salami on a toothpick. The breads are very good but the appetizer would of been better with an addition of some other sliced meats to go with the bread.

“Charming”
Reviewed May 30, 2012 via mobile

I love the decor but service is slow and food is just " ok" . I keep going back because it is one of a few places in Lodi that has outdoor seating. The food is good quality but overall very bland.
