We had breakfast only so really can't comment on much of their offerings. We did have good service and our orders were correct and hit the spot.

Many of the manufactured 50’s diners now try to recapture the charm of the era, Richmaid Restaurant really is from that era.

We stopped in for breakfast using the ‘number of cars in the lot’ method of choosing a good place. We were not disappointed.

The current owners had just celebrated their 15th year anniversary. They restored this place after it had been closed. Lots of memorabilia scattered around from the 40’s and 50’s when it was a creamery/car hop joint. A large pirate statue is setup around the register for anyone who wants to ‘arrrrgue’ their bill (sorry, I couldn’t resist).

We had two Omelets; the Ortega chili and Enchilada and both were excellent. The Enchilada sauce was not bland and it was filled with shredded beef, not hamburger. The Ortega Chili omelette was just as excellent.

They offer pancakes as a side dish that are hot and fluffy.

The staff was friendly to the extreme, customizing our orders as we traded ingredients between us and making a fresh pot of decaf.

We had no need for lunch after this carbo-load as we returned to our trip down highway 99.

A true Lodi tradition. We have only eaten breakfast here. Always good and always fast despite the crowd. Fun to watch the local cast of characters come in who probably started eating here in the 40's. Service is excellent and I especially like that they go out of their way to make to older crowd feel safe and comfortable ad I am sure thesis the highlight of some of their days. Linguicia with eggs or pork chop with eggs are rally good! Worth a try!

It's a great place for any breakfast, lunch or dinner. Good coffee, good deserts and nice wait staff. Lots of locals and retired types, especially in the mornings. Easy to find off Highway 99 on the west side.
