Usually avoid most fish dishes at Mexican style restaurants as either too bland or too suspect. Our meals last night were amazing. Best was the talipia. Light with a wonderful sauce. Capers really added to the flavor. We also had some killer drinks. Place was packed but we got a table in minutes. All waitstaff were on their A game. Well done!

This talented chef can really make your taste buds party. The flavors are complex yet subtle. I have had many (most) items on the menu and enjoyed every one of the. The Fish Veracruz just might be my favorite, however.

Have not been to resturant since it moved locations. Atmosphere is probably a lot better. Food is very well prepared. Love the tableside guacamole!! Will go back!!

With one exception, the food was really excellent. The exception was the salsa served with the chips, the usual free appetizer in a Mexican restaurant. I know they often make it mild for the sake of the typical Norteamericano, but that stuff was next to zero for flavor. When I asked for something spicy, the server obliged with what looked like the real deal. It was spicy all right, but the underlying flavor was really odd, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste even after finishing the meal.

The single server was friendly, but a little overwhelmed by a modest lunch crowd. There was no refill offered on the drinks (lemonade), and we had to chase him down to get our check. Upon doing so, I wished I hadn't--the prices were unreasonable. $6.00 for two glasses of lemonade, with no refill. $14.00 for a couple fish tacos.

Again, the food was superior, but just about everything else was a disappointment. We won't be back.

The locals rave about this "upscale" Mexican food, but us midwesterners didn't really get it. The food was about as bland as served in a Northern Minnesota diner, and we came to California to eat authentic Mexican! We were disappointed that we didn't go elsewhere for our Mexican food night out while visiting the Lodi area. Also, the bar staff was wonderful, but all the infused tequila is really a very trendy thing that we could do without. I'd rather the focus be on high quality tequila!
