“Great Brunch in Livermore”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

Brunch is served at 9am on Sat and 8:30am on Sundays. Best value around and they rotate one or two of the choices each week or so. Especially great to sit out on the front sidewalk, and pet friendly there as well. Favorite is usually the salmon. Also eggs/omelet to order. Arrive early as it is very popular. About $18 out the door with tip and non-alchoholic drink.

“Way better than Pub Grub, less than Gourmet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

First Street Ale House offers above average food and great beer. It is a perfect destination for a fun night out or a late-evening date.

Service is fairly good, although the staff seemed a little harried as the tables filled up. The menu is not lengthy but includes some flavorful choices that are presented with flair.

You often have to wait a bit for a table, but it is worth it. Everyone was very happy with their meals. We go there often because it is good.

“Geat Food - Dog Friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

This local hangout is a popular place due to great food, drinks, and casual atmosphere. It is also well known for being dog friendly. My family, including our dog, are regulars. Come early as it tends to fill up quickly.

“Great Venue, but just average food.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

I have heard great things about this restaurant. The venue/vibe was great. The food was just average in my opinion. The prices was fair for the quality of food you get. I was a bit disapointed to find out they did not have a full bar. Weird thing was, that when we got there they said that they take reservations, but when I called 30 min earlier they said I would have to send someone down to put our name in. Not sure what that was about?!
In conclusion, I would return with a group of friends. I would probably like it more the second time now that I know what to expect. Average food/good prices/just beer/fun place to hang.
