My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights while we were in town for a family reunion. We usually stay at the Best Western across town and every time we have stayed there we have not been too satisfied with our room because they are so small and the walls are very thin, but we would stay there because that is where the family stayed. Well this year they were all booked up and we had to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express. At first I was sad, but after we got there and saw our room we didn't care any more about the Best Western. We were so excited to see the room. We had no idea what we had been missing all these years staying over at the Best Western. Our room was so spacious. It had a big King size bed that was so soft and comfortable with 2 types of pillows to choose from, soft or firm. A comfortable sofa, a wide desk and roll around chair with a lamp, a cushioned bench to sit and look out the window which we had a pool view room that we were promised, a microwave, a kitchen sink with cabinets with a few dishes, and a fridge. A wonderful shower with 3 different levels of pressure, a big sink and lots of counter space in the bathroom that came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, shower cap and mouth wash and if you forget anything from home they will get it for you complimentary. The pool was not the biggest, but it was very nice and there is towels by the pool. They had complimentay breakfast that was pretty good. I ate sausage and scrambled eggs with a cinnamon roll that was hot and so did my husband. The customer service was excellent and fast and the girl even gave us free water and a gronola bar to eat for a snack. Our room was so big it almost felt like a sweet. It was so peacful and quiet there. We both slept very well there. Way better then at the Best Western. It was easy to sit back and relax. It made you wonder if anyone else was there. I really reccomend staying There. You will not be dissapointed! One last thing to mention that is pretty funny, it would have been the same price to stay at the Best Western, $78.00 through AAA and we wouldn't have gotten half of what we got at the Holiday Inn Express. We will definitely go there from now on for our family reunion that happens every year.
