So what’s the deal and how does the word Sauced come into play…..This venue does a wide range of BBQ items most of which are built around a chicken or pork main dish. The food is cooked on site, smoked over local woods (you will see the wood on site). When you cut into your main dish, you will be able to see how deep the smoke has penetrated into the meat, which is a sign of how long the food was slow smoked. I am more of a Meat than fowl person, so I usually order the ribs or pulled-pork, it has been very good the 4 times we have been here.
Sides are the typical BBQ sides, slaw, beans, corn bread and others. Good sized portions and tasty . But what about the Sauced part of the review? At your table there will be 6 different containers of sauce to use on your meal. Ranges from mild to spicy hot and each with their own special appeal (Hints of Mustard and other flavors….)
The venue is clean, not too noisy, food service moves along at a good pace, and in the 4 times I have been there (family size of 6 with two very young grandkids, we have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. This is a good place for families to dine, good alternative for couples and I would eat here solo as well. BBQ tends to be a $10-15 a plate price range and that is what you will find here.
