Great Course, not on the easy side - but great views of the surrounding area. Wine tasting on site which is cool

We did not know what we were about to experience at Wente Vinyards when we set foot on the course there. We had an excellent wine tasting the day before at Wente and saw the course from the road. Prepare for a lot of up and down hiking regardless of where you hit your ball. We personally enjoyed the exercise and the breathtaking scenery of the vineyards. It was a memorable golf adventure. Especially Lombard Street!

This was a great golf course! Not one piece of dead or dry grass on the entire course, it was in fantastic shape. The course is set in a vineyard with lots of elevation changes from tee to green. I think the elevation made club choice tricky, but fun especially when playing from the whites which really changed the yardage. Twilight rate was very reasonable for this great course. I can't wait to go back.

We had a 4-some playing and must tell you that on two occasions that the marshall came up to us in a direct unprofessional manner that truly interrupted our game talking down to us about slow play. He did not realize that we had a 2-some behind us that we let go ahead of us the first time and we used the snack bar at the turn the second time. This really ruined our game and said we do not want to return. The course was in great shape and just a beautiful course.

Great golf course with some amazing elevation changes. The view from the practise ground alone is worth the green fee. Challenging golf course in mint condition. Great friendly staff giving a real country club experience.
