“somewhat inedible”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Out of our 4 dinners 2 were ok and 2 were not. The gorgonzola pasta may have been near some gorgonzola at some point, but I don't thing any got into the dish. The calimari.....how can you mess up calimari?...they managed to do so

“Refreshing new take on bowling ;-)”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

We attended a birthday party at this restaurant. Good Italian food was served family style to our group after we played several Bocce games. What struck me most --there was the cross section of ages and groups who were delighting in playing bocce or just watching it. As I looked across the room and outside bocce lanes, everyone was just having a good time. If you are looking for both good food and a good time try this new take on bowling, its good for 2 or 12+ and any age. The building and setting are perfect with grapevines surrounding it.

“Great vineyard setting but poor quality food”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

I enjoy the wonderful location within a vineyard where you could believe that at least you are in company with the 1%. But on the two occasions I have been there I found the Italian entrees to be of poor quality. I was surprised. Also the service was mediocre. The waiter didn't go through the motions of inquiring if we wanted more wine or dessert before he brought the check. Perhaps my wife and I didn't fit the Campo di Bocce profile. We are in out seventies, and my wife's arm was in a sling from a recent fall.

“Sunday Brunch is delicious!”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

Family of four just enjoyed a delicious Father's Day Sunday Brunch. Kids loved watching the Bocce Ball players and the Buffet Brunch was delicious. Plenty of goodies to choose from: omelette bar, fresh carved meat, waffles, eggs benedict, bacon and sausage, bagel fixings, pastry goodies and desserts. The food was delicious and service was stellar.

“WHAT A CONCEPT!”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

This indoor/outdoor restaurant, complete with 4 bocce ball courts, aims to please, entertain and satisfy the weary wine country tourist after a long and winding day of wine tasting. It does just that. Whether a couple for romance, a group for fun or the serious minded seeking good italian food, you can't go wrong here. Tucked away in a non-descript strip mall, the restaurant's chicken marsala was delicious as were the clams (perhaps a little chewy, but in an incredible broth). The service was excellent as was the atmosphere of couples, families and friends out enjoying a perfect sun shining day in the wine country. Great "last stop" for the day!
