“Soooo cute!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Traffic was so bad through Lincoln back in the day that I didn't dare stop but oh, what a mistake! This place is so adorable inside! The chicken cashew sandwich was delicious and the service was top notch! You can't go wrong with Awful Annie's.

“Awfully Excellent Annie's”
Reviewed April 17, 2013 via mobile

I was supposed to stay in Yuba City, but fortuitously for me I stayed in Lincoln instead. Checking Trip Advisor, Awful Annie's is highly recommended, and the positive recommendations were accurate.

I was pleasantly surprised in the early afternoon that breakfast was available all day. The Crabcake Benedict stood out, so I gave it a try. The English muffin wasn't overtoasted, the crab wasn't fishy and the eggs were soft with runny yolks. Best of all, it was piping hot. This was aided by a preheated plate...a nice touch if you enjoy warm food warm. It came with fruit or potatoes for $11.79, which I found to be reasonable for the quantity and quality of the meal. Delicious breakfast.

The service was quick and friendly, and the place is spotlessly clean. At the corner of 5th and Old Hwy 65 in downtown Lincoln, access is good. Wish I lived closer to Annie's.

“Yummy”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

This place is fantastic for breakfast. You have to get there early though, as this place gets packed quickly. There food is great, portion sizes are large, and prices are fantastic. Breakfast for 3 of us, full meals and 2 bloody marys was less than $30.

“Excellent Breakfast, Lunch not so much....”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

We have eaten both breakfast and lunches here and it is surprising how different they are. The lunch menu just isn't that terrific, but the breakfast menu is amazing. We have never had a bad breakfast meal there. Service has always been good. It is located in the older portion of Lincoln, so parking can be somewhat of a pain if the area is busy. Try to go on a slightly off time (we usually go around 10:30am) to avoid the bigger crowds.

“Favorite Restaurant in Lincoln”
Reviewed March 22, 2013

Whenever I go to Lincoln, I make sure I stop here for lunch. Friendly, comfortable, the food is delicious, great sandwich combinations. There are many things on the menu I look forward to trying. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. This seems to be a favorite with the locals as well.
