Owner description: The bottom of this tremendous redwood tree has been hollowed out so that cars can drive through it.

The sign seemed cheesy "Drive through a Redwood $5" but the experience and photographs were priceless. We just stumbled upon this private property road side attraction near sundown and glad to have these memories and photos. Nice gift shop and friendly local woman who recommended a local Chinese restaurant.

In addition to the tree there is a small lake and trails through the redwoods that our dog loved. There is a $5 per vehicle entry fee.

We didn't even know about it, just saw the highway sign and decided to check it out. You pay 5$ at the entrance and can go through as many times you want. We drove through it in circles as long as no one else was in line and had a blast!

We drove through 3 times, and walked through too, just to get the picture right. They are ok with that :)

It was worth the $5 they charge you while entering. the place is well maintained. the drive through tree is one of its kind!
however, the GPS directions are wrong. look at the road signs and follow them, u can't miss the road signs.
