“Once in a Lifetime!”

Something I've always wanted to do, but thought I'd never have the time. The tree and the part are amazing and nice to know it's been in the same family all these years. Beautiful and worth the trip!

“Fun to see for 5 bucks”
Reviewed October 27, 2012 via mobile

Fun attraction if you're on the 101. It's only about 2 minutes off the hiway, there are a few large redwoods to check out as you drive down to the drive through tree and its only 5 bucks per car. Kids love it.

“Entertaining for people watchers”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

Okay, I had to go through at least one redwood tree to say I did it. This one is located on the south end of the redwood parks. For $5 you wind through a forest and dare squeeze through the opening while your friend takes your picture. The thing we enjoyed most was sitting back and watching the excitement of each driver go through. Believe it or not, I witnessed a full size SUV fit through it!

“Not much else there besides Chandelier Tree”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

Tried to decide when planning a trip to Redwoods how far south to drive to start our journey. Was hesitant to drive to Leggett for this attraction but decided to go for it. Probably drove an extra 25 miles or so to get there (one way). $5 to get in attraction. Only the Chandelier Tree was neat but not impressed with anything else there. Was a gift shop and restrooms.

“Drive through an actual redwood tree”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

The Chandelier Tree was a great way for us to end our visit to the Humboldt Redwoods.
You drive thru a pretty narrow tunnel in a great living tree. Much more impressive than driving thru a stump. Also, the tree is located deeper within the wilderness away from the main traffic. You had to weave around other trees on a dirt path to get there. This built up the anticipation of seeing the Chandelier. My parents took plenty of great shots to show off.
There is a gift shop, of course. And picnic tables near a close-by pond.
It's a cheap thrill. Highly recommended if you're visiting the region.
