My husband and I spent 2 nights there over memorial weekend. Only really noisy in the early A.M. By the birds! I can't complain about that. Stayed in a cabin one night and a room the next. Both were very clean and comfortable. Very nice and helpful. I may have just had a bad experience with the hot water, but I had to take break to let the water warm up to rinse out my conditioner -- my husband took a shower first? Maybe, it just wasn't my day.

Nice motel, quick drive from the tufa at mono lake and the eastern entrance to Yosemite. Room was big, clean if a bit warm, ac was a bit temperamental. Close to shops and a coupe of restaurants in lee vining. Had wifi, a fridge, TV and coffee machine.

This lodge is quite basic but was far cheaper than any accommodation within the national park. There was some wifi in our room as we were quite close to the office but it was very slow. Although the decor was very dated with some lights not working in the room, it did the job & appeared clean enough. The lodge is next door to a handy local shop (excellent breakfast burrito & spinach & feta croissant!) & diner, & was a 20 minute drive to Lake Mono or 1.5 hours to the Yosemite National Park visitor centre, both of which were worth a visit. I can't really comment on the service as we just checked in & out.

I left my sweater at the room, I called the front desk totally 3 times, and they said they didn't. Get anything and won't check it for me. Then no more answering my call. Bad attitudes and tempers. Not responsible for customers at all!

We stayed in room 36. It was spacious and well maintained and equipped. It had an old fashioned TV though. Everything was in working order. Check in was no problem. We were assigned a room on the second floor. After we requested a room on ground level we were accommodated without any hassle.
The price was a bit on the high side since it did not include a complimentary breakfast.
We definitely would stay in this facility again.

We actually really liked our one-night stay in one of the "cozy cabins" offered. Cute, rustic-looking, and clean, with a small kitchen and all the basics needed for a short stay in a place close to Mono Lake, Tuolomne Meadows, Olmsted Point, etc. Beds in the cabins are comfortable enough for a short stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

There's a general store right next door, with restaurants, the fantastic Latte Da, the MonoCone burger joint, and the great Mono Lake Committee bookstore/art gallery all just a short walk away.
Heater kept us warm in 22-degree weather, but needs a muffler -- really noisy, so bring earplugs! A small upgrade to pillows and towels would make things a bit nicer. Advetised WIFI very spotty and unreliable.

Room Tip: If you choose one of the cozy cabins at a time when you'll need to run the heater all night, bri...

We had a great visit. We were trying to decide at 5pm if we should drive Tioga Pass, or stay in Lee Vining. So glad we stayed. We went down to Mono Lake and saw the tufa towers at sunset. Beautiful! Our room was spacious and clean. We liked the 2 sink areas. It faced east, so saw a magnificent sunrise as well! Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
