“A Must Stop!”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

We wandered into the Committee Info Center since we were in Lee Vining and wanted some information on the Lake. We watched the short movie about how a group of Hippies took on the Los Angeles Water Board and WON! The staff was very helpful in making recommendations for things to do and locations for views of the lake. The shop has lots of really neat art pieces to buy.

“Awesome place!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

This is a great place to start your visit to Mono Lake. There is a ton of information, they loop the Mono Lake story video constantly, and the people working there are very helpful. The bookstore is full of really unique items, we spent enough to become members. They also have a cool display of brine shrimp.
